Longer documents work best split at section boundaries, which also gives you a chance to check each part against the original as you go. The service generates several candidate rewrites rather than a single attempt, because the variation between drafts is what makes the next step worth anything.
Each candidate is scored by our own AI detector, the same one that powers the rest of this site. If a draft clears that check, you get it. If none of them do, you are told, and the words are refunded to the daily allowance rather than spent on a failure. We do not return the least-bad draft dressed up as a success.
The free allowance is 2,000 words a day with no account and no card, or 10,000 signed in. It refreshes the next UTC day rather than expiring as a trial. Unused words do not roll over. Pasted text is sent to our inference service to be rewritten and scored; it is not sold, shared, or used to train a model. The privacy policy in the footer is the longer version of that sentence.
